  18. INTRODUCTION:

  21. WorldWrite is a Multilingual Word Processor/Browser that takes advantage of a Multiple Document Interface format.
  22. Dedsigned for Windows 95, WorldWrite is easy to learn and easy to use. It is based on Microsoft's new Active X controls and runs on 32 bit operating systems only.
  23. The following features are available in WorldWrite 1.00:

  25.     *-> Word Processor:
  26. - Support Rich Text Format and Text Format
  27. - Drag and Drop interface
  28. - Multiple Document Interface that enables the user to work on multiple documents at the same time.
  29. - Multilingual Edition: choice of English, French, Spanish, German and Italian within the application. The user can select one of this language at any time while the program is running.
  30. - Regular text editing features: Cut/Copy/Paste, Find, Print, Select All.
  31. - Rich Text Format specific features: Choice of Fonts, Sizes, Colors, Style, Alignment.
  32. - MAPI aware: let the user send his document via E-Mail if a MAPI-compliant mail server is available

  35. - MDI capability: several Internet sessions can be opened at a time, and as the same time as text documents. The user can switch between its Text Editing documents and its Internet documents.
  36. - Possibility to open internal HTML documents
  37. - Regular Internet Browsers features: Go forward, Go Back, Stop Dowloading, Refresh Page, View Source Code
  38. - Possibility to customize your Start Page and Search page
  39. - Capability to save favorites Internet adresses through a bookmark

  50. INSTALLATION:
  51. -------------
  52. The use of WorldWrite 1.00 requires the installation of Microsoft's Active X Internet controls, available at http://207.68.137.8/icp/us/icpdown/MSICPB.exe
  53. - Run the file MSICPB.EXE to first install the controls.    
  54. - Then install WorldWrite:    
  55.         1) Unzip WW10.zip into an empty temporary folder
  56.         2) Run SETUP.EXE, and follow the on-screen instructions.
  57.         3) FYI, following Microsoft's compliance for Windows 95 applications,  uninstall WorldWrite will be available in your Control Panel/Add-Remove Software 
  58.     4) Run WorldWrite from your Start Menu/Programs

  61. KNOWN BUGS:
  62. -----------
  63.     -> WIN NT 4.00: the flags appearing in the status bar are sometimes messed up.
  64.     -> A "80" is added to URL adresses, although it does not affect the connections(Bug coming from MS Active X control, though !).

  73. RESTRICTED FEATURES:

  75.     The following restrictions apply to unregistered copies of WorldWrite:

  77.     -> The application runs only for 30 days from the install day
  78.     -> The Multilingual feature is disabled, only English is available
  79.     -> A Register Dialog Box appears every time you start the application

  81. REGISTRATION:
  82. -------------
  83.     If you make use of WorldWrite, you have to register it. 
  84.     Registration is more a way for me to get feedback from users that anything else, since the application is almost free.
